Parviz Yahaghi
Parviz Yahaghi ( fa , پرویز یاحقی ) (September 23, 1935 – February 2, 2007) was a distinguished Iranian composer and violinist. He resided in Tehran city for practically his whole life, and was born and died there. His birth name was Parviz Sedighi Parsi. He was musically educated primarily by his uncle Hossein Yahaghi, a violinist and violin teacher, from whom Parviz adopted the Yahaghi name. During his youth Parviz was exposed to many highly professional musicians in Tehran who were friends of his uncle. A notable visitor at his uncle's house was the violin teacher, composer, and musicologist Abolhasan Saba, who is credited with making improvements in violin playing technique in the Persian tradition. Saba published a two-volume training manual for the violin in 1944-45. Tehran
Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. Behesht-e Zahra
Behesht-e Zahra ( fa, بهشت زهرا, lit. ''The Paradise of Zahra'', from Fatima az-Zahra) is the largest cemetery in Iran. Located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran, it is connected to the city by Tehran Metro Line 1. History In the early 1950s, all the cemeteries in Tehran were supposed to be replaced by several large new ones outside the then precincts of the capital. Behesht-e Zahra was built in late 1960s on the southern side of Tehran towards the direction of the city of Qom and opened on 29 June 1970 by mayor of Tehran, Gholamreza Nikpey. It was named by Ayatollah Ahmad Khonsari. The first person buried in Behesht-e Zahra was Mohammad-Taghi Khial on 25 July 1970. Homayoun Khorram
Ostad Homayoun Khorram ( fa, همایون خرم), (June 30, 1930 – January 17, 2013) was an Iranian musician, composer, violinist, and a member of the high council of Iran's house of music. Khorram began his music career as a violinist at the age of 10 by participating in master Abolhassan Saba violin and Radif classes. After four years of lessons, Khorram entered the State National Radio Orchestra as a violin soloist and afterwards as a concert maestro. Due to the genius musical talent and passion he start to work as a leading composer of the National Radio at the age of 21. At the same time with music education, he followed up academic education and acquired MSc degree in electrical engineering.
