''Partycrasher'', released on November 5, 2013, through No Idea Records, is the fourth full-length album from the Massachusetts based melodic hardcore band A Wilhelm Scream, since changing their name from Smackin' Isaiah, and their sixth overall. It is their first full-length release following 2007's Career Suicide (A Wilhelm Scream album), Career Suicide. Recorded in 2012, Produced and Engineered by Trevor J. Reilly and Mike Supina at Black and Blue Studio, and Anchor End Recording, both in New Bedford MA. Additional Engineering by James Whitten. Mixing done by Andrew Berlin and the crew at The Blasting Room. The album is widely considered to be the heaviest of all of A Wilhelm Scream's releases and features the band using more Heavy metal music, heavy metal elements than their previous releases. ''Lose Your Delusion'' is the seventh overall studio album by Massachusetts-based melodic hardcore band A Wilhelm Scream, and the fifth album under the ''A Wilhelm Scream'' name. It was released on April 14, 2022, on Creator-Destructor Records. This is the first AWS in 9 years since their sixth studio album Partycrasher, as well as their first album to feature Senses Fail guitarist Jason Milbank who relieved Mike Supina in 2019, though the latter did provide some guitar parts on the record. Information In a 2015 interview, Trevor Reilly had confirmed a follow up to ''Partycrasher''. While in the process of writing new music and touring at the same time, guitarist Mike Supina had left the band in 2018 after 10 years with the band. ''A Wilhelm Scream'', released on November 20, 2009 through Paper + Plastick, is the second EP and in all the fifth release from the Massachusetts-based melodic hardcore band A Wilhelm Scream since changing their name from Smackin' Isaiah in 2002. It is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed third full-length album ''Career Suicide'' and has thus far received very favourable reviews. The EP marked the debut of guitarist Mike Supina, who replaced longtime member Chris Levesque and took over lead guitar duties from Trevor Reilly (though Reilly continues to play all leads and solos on songs written before the EP). Recording and composition It was revealed in a July 2009 press release, featuring a partial interview with bassist Brian Robinson, that the band recorded this project themselves and it was therefore produced and recorded at their very own Black & Blue Studios in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Blasting Room
The Blasting Room is a recording studio in Fort Collins, Colorado. Founded by members of the punk rock band All in 1994, it is owned and operated by musician Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag, All, Only Crime) and Jason Livermore. The studio is known for recording and producing many punk rock bands, with Stevenson and Livermore serving as in-house audio engineers and record producers. In July 1994, the members of All relocated from Brookfield, Missouri to Fort Collins. Using money from their recent recording contract with Interscope Records, they designed and began construction of The Blasting Room with the help of guitarist Stephen Egerton's father, Dan O' Reilly. It generally provides readers with band interviews, photos, and relevant news. It was founded in 1985 by Mike Shea in Cleveland, OH. The company is now looked after by MDDN. Beginnings The first issue of ''Alternative Press'' was distributed at concerts in Cleveland, Ohio beginning in June 1985 by ''APs founder, Mike Shea to advocate bands playing underground music. The name for the magazine, ''Alternative Press'', was not a reference to the alternative rock genre, but referred to the fanzine being an alternative to the local press. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Background Pre-production for the band's next album was held at Black & Blue Project Studio in New Bedford, Massachusetts with Joe Reilly and Jonathan Teves. ''Career Suicide'' was recorded at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado in May 2007 with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore as producers. No Idea Records
No Idea Records is an American independent record label based in Gainesville, Florida which focuses on punk rock and its sub-styles and produces both vinyl records and compact discs. The label also organizes The Fest, an independently operated annual festival known for featuring over 250 punk, pop punk, country, heavy metal, indie rock, avant-garde and other musical acts across many venues for 3 days in Gainesville each fall. No Idea Records started not as a record label, but as a zine in 1985, published independently by Var Thelin and Ken Coffelt and some friends of theirs from high school. By the seventh issue in 1989, Var was running the zine with Sarah Dyer and other contributors and collaborators.
