Party Of France
The Party of France (french: Parti de la France, PDF) is a political party in France. The PDF was founded on 23 February 2009 by National Front MEP Carl Lang. Carl Lang was known for his opposition to Marine Le Pen's possible candidacy to the leadership of the FN upon retirement of its long-time leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen. This came in the midst of the early campaign for the 2009 European elections: Carl Lang, elected for the FN in the North-West constituency ran for re-election under the PDF banner, against the FN list led by Marine Le Pen. The PDF supported Jean Verdon in the Massif Central-Centre and the incumbent MEP Jean-Claude Martinez in the South-West constituency. The party ran no lists against Jean-Marie Le Pen and Bruno Gollnisch. The PDF was joined by a number of high-ranking FN elected officials and members, including Fernand Le Rachinel and Bernard Antony. Carl Lang
Carl Lang (born 20 September 1957) is a French politician and former Member of the European Parliament for the North-West constituency. He was member of the National Front from 1978 to 2008; he is currently president and co-founder of the Party of France (''Front National'' and ''Party of France'' are both classified by their opponents as a far-right party). He was a member of the europarliamentary group " Identity Tradition and Sovereignty" (ITS) in the European Parliament until its dissolving in November 2007. Currently a Non-Inscrit, he is member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. Jean-Marie Le Pen
Jean Louis Marie Le Pen (, born 20 June 1928) is a French far-right politician who served as President of the National Front from 1972 to 2011. He also served as Honorary President of the National Front from 2011 to 2015. Le Pen graduated from the faculty of law in Paris in 1949. After his time in the military, he studied political science and law at Panthéon-Assas University. Picardy (; Picard and french: Picardie, , ) is a historical territory and a former administrative region of France. Since 1 January 2016, it has been part of the new region of Hauts-de-France. Nord-Pas-de-Calais (); pcd, Nord-Pas-Calés); is a former administrative region of France. Since 1 January 2016, it has been part of the new region Hauts-de-France. Fernand Le Rachinel (born 4 June 1942) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament for the north-west of France. He is a member of the National Front, and is therefore a Non-Inscrit in the European Parliament. He sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Transport and Tourism. Le Rachinel is also a substitute for the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and a member of the delegation for relations with the Korean Peninsula. Bruno Gollnisch (; born 28 January 1950) is a French academic and politician, a member of the National Front (France), National Front (FN) History of far-right movements in France, far-right party.
