Eighth Avenue is a major north–south avenue on the west side of Manhattan in New York City, carrying northbound traffic below 59th Street. It is one of the original avenues of the Commissioners' Plan of 1811 to run the length of Manhattan, though today the name changes twice. At 59th Street/Columbus Circle it becomes Central Park West, where it forms the western boundary of Central Park. Park West and Cherry Orchard railway station is an Iarnród Éireann railway station in Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland, serving the Park West and the Cherry Orchard area. Description The station opened on 28 July 2008, replacing the former Cherry Orchard and Parkwest Station located nearby. It is located in on the Dublin - Cork main line (the pre-Grouping Great Southern & Western Railway) and is served by South Western Commuter services. Former Cherry Orchard station The former station, Cherry Orchard and Parkwest - originally simply called Cherry Orchard - opened on 16 May 1994. It was closed on 27 July 2008 as part of the ''Kildare Route Project'', and demolished later in 2008. Park West (Miami)
Park West is a neighborhood of Greater Downtown, Miami, Florida. It is roughly bound by Biscayne Boulevard to the east, West (NW) First Avenue to the west, North (NE/NW) 7th Street to the south and Interstate 395 to the north. As of 2010, about 4,655 residents live in Park West. The neighborhood is named 'Park West' due to its location just west of Museum Park. Future development Much of the neighborhood west of the Metromover will be developed into Miami World Center, a major urban center containing a convention center, hotel, residential condo towers, and 765,000 square feet of retail. Plans for an enclosed Mall at Miami WorldCenter anchored by Bloomingdales and Macy's, have been replaced in favor of an open air promenade shopping district. Park West (originally the Lane Court Theatre) is a concert venue located in Chicago, Illinois. The theater opened in 1916 as a vaudeville and movie theater by the Ascher Brothers. Currently, it can house up to 1,000 guests, in a general admission setting. About The theater opened in the 1910s, with a capacity of 1,000 people. In 1965, the theater became the "Town Theatre", eventually showing adult films and featuring live burlesque by 1967. In the 1970s, it was purchased by Dale Niedermaier and John May, refurbished and reopened as "Park West", the music venue and special events space May 11, 1977. The theater hosts a variety of bands, most of which perform classic rock or alternative rock.
