Parkpoom Wongpoom
Parkpoom Wongpoom ( th, ภาคภูมิ วงศ์ภูมิ) (born 1978) is a Thai filmmaker and screenwriter. With Banjong Pisanthanakun, he co-directed and co-wrote the hit 2004 Thai horror film, '' Shutter'', and the 2007 horror film, '' Alone''. Biography Education and early career Parkpoom Wongpoom graduated from the Department of Film and Video, Faculty of Communication Arts at Rangsit University in 2000. His first short film, the 8-minute ''Luang Ta'' (''Old Monk''), was shown at many film festivals, including the Thai Short Film and Video Festival, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Singapore International Film Festival and the Pusan International Short Film Festival. It won the Best Director and Best Thai Short Film awards at the Bangkok Film Festival in 2001. Flickerfest
Flickerfest is an international short film festival held annually in January at Bondi Beach, Sydney. It is an Academy and BAFTA recognised short film festival for both international and Australian film makers. History The festival originated as a small, local festival at Balmain High School in 1991. It has premiered an increasingly broader range of international short films since its establishment. In 2003, Flickerfest was recognised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science to qualify for Best Animation and Best Short Film categories of the Academy Awards. ''Homestay'' is a 2018 Thailand, Thai drama film, drama thriller film, thriller fantasy film, fantasy film produced by Jor Kwang Films and distributed by GDH 559. The 2007 Bangkok International Film Festival was held from July 19 to July 29, 2007, at SF Group's SF World Cinema at CentralWorld.
