Park Sang-min (actor)
Park Sang-min (born October 9, 1970) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for Im Kwon-taek's ''General's Son'' trilogy and his roles in numerous television dramas such as ''My Lovely Fool'' and ''Giant''. Park has had run-ins with the law: a drunk driving arrest in 2011, and a domestic violence charge in 2012. Im Kwon-taek
Im Kwon-taek (born December 8, 1934) is one of South Korea's most renowned film directors. In an active and prolific career, his films have won many domestic and international film festival awards as well as considerable box-office success, and helped bring international attention to the Korean film industry. As of spring 2015, he has directed 102 films. Early life Im Kwon-taek was born in Jangseong, Jeollanam-do and grew up in Gwangju. After the Korean War, he moved to Busan in search of work. He then moved to Seoul in 1956, where Jeong Chang-hwa, director of ''Five Fingers of Death'' (1972), offered him room and board for work as a production assistant. Jeong recommended him for directing in 1961. Career Im's directorial premiere was with the 1962 film, '' Farewell to the Duman River'' (''Dumanganga jal itgeola''). ''Did We Really Love?'' () is a South Korean drama series broadcast by MBC in 1999. Starring Bae Yong-joon, the series portrays the struggles between love, happiness, and the pursuit of material success. Plot Jae-ho and his sister Jae-young were abandoned by their mother to escape poverty. Because of this, Jae-ho doesn't understand what love is.
