Park Jeong-ah (volleyball)
Park Jeong-ah (born 26 March 1993) is a South Korean female volleyball player. She is part of the South Korea women's national volleyball team. Park was appointed as the new captain of the Korean Women's Volleyball National Team since Kim Yeon-koung stepped back. Clubs * Hwaseong IBK Altos (2011~2017) * Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Hi-pass (2017~) Career She went to Namsung Women's Highschool. In 2009, she made her first senior national team debut in age 16 at 2009 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup. She currently plays for Korean club Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Hi-pass since 2017 after her contract with Hwaseong IBK Altos expired. She participated at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. She plays as an Outside Hitter. The 2015 FIVB Women's World Cup was held from August 22 to September 6 in Japan. The tournament was a qualification process for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World Grand Prix in the international calendar. The competition was held between May and July 2018, and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China. 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship
The 2010 FIVB Women's World Championship was the sixteenth edition of the competition. Like the previous tournament, the 2010 edition also was held from 29 October to 14 November 2010 in Japan, though the range of venues and locations was modified slightly (Matsumoto and Hamamatsu replaced Sapporo and Kobe in 2010). Twenty-four teams participated in the tournament. The tournament was won by Russia, who finished with a perfect record, defeating Brazil in the intense final game. Japan defeated the United States for the third place, winning their first bronze medal in the tournament history, and the first medal since 1978, having so far three gold and three silver already to their name.
