Washington Park High School (also known as Park or Racine Park High School) is a public, four-year high school in Racine, Wisconsin, USA, with an enrollment of over 2,400 students. Its school colors are blue and orange. The school's mascot, the panther, was adopted by the Class of 1949, reportedly because of a nearby Native American effigy mound in the shape of a panther. It is a part of the Racine Unified School District. History The school traces its roots to 1852 when Racine High School, one of the first public schools in Wisconsin, opened. In 1926, the Racine School Board decided to replace Racine High School with a new school that eventually became Park. The new Washington Park High School opened in 1928. Park High School is a high school in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States, part of the South Washington County School District. The school was opened in 1914 In St. Paul Park, on 3rd St. It was moved to a newer building in Cottage Grove in 1965. History The school was originally opened in 1914 In St. Paul Park. It was later moved to Cottage Grove in 1965. An ice arena was added and attached to the school in 1974. It was later disconnected from the school. In 2010, the high school ice arena next to the school had construction which added a new entrance and another full sized rink for another, newly built high school in the area. In 2011, the building underwent construction which added a lecture hall and a new modern looking entrance. Park High School is a coeducational 11–18 Academy in Stanmore, London, England. It is located next to Centenary Park. The school converted to academy status in 2011, having previously been a community school under the direct control of Harrow London Borough Council. Livingston is a city and county seat of Park County, Montana, United States. It is in southwestern Montana, on the Yellowstone River, north of Yellowstone National Park. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 8,040. History The founding of the small historical railroad and ranching town of Livingston is a direct result of the Northern Pacific Railway (NPR). This site became a centralized point in the Rockies and the NPR's location for railroad shops to service their steam trains before ascending the Bozeman Pass, the line's highest point, located immediately west. Birkenhead Park School is a co-educational 11–16 secondary school with academy status near Birkenhead Park, in Birkenhead on the Wirral Peninsula in England. It was renamed University Academy Birkenhead in 2011 from the merger of Park High School and Rock Ferry High School and was based at the former Park High School site.
