Park High School is a coeducational secondary school located in Colne in the English county of Lancashire. Previously a community school administered by Lancashire County Council, in September 2018 Park High School converted to academy status and is now sponsored by The Pennine Trust. The school offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. The terms of the arrangements are set out in individual Academy Funding Agreements. Natalie Gumede
Natalie Gumede (born 20 March 1984) is an English actress. She is known for playing Kirsty Soames in the ITV soap opera, ''Coronation Street'', from 2011 to 2013. She previously played China in BBC Three comedy show ''Ideal''. She has also appeared in ''The Persuasionists'', ''Emmerdale'' and ''Doctor Who'' among other television shows. The Archdeacon of London is a senior ecclesiastical officer in the Church of England. They are responsible for the eastern Archdeaconry (the Archdeaconry of London) of the Two Cities (London and Westminster) in the Diocese of London, an area without area bishop and, rather, overseen by the (diocese-leading) Bishop of London. Rosemary Lain-Priestley
Rosemary Jane Lain-Priestley (born 1967) is a Church of England priest and former Archdeacon for the Two Cities. Early life and education She was born in 1967 in Lancashire, England. She was educated at the University of Kent and worked as an immigration adviser until joining the Diocese of Carlisle, Carlisle Diocese Ordination, Training Course. She holds an MA from King's College London. Ordained ministry She was ordained deacon in 1996 and priest in 1997. After curacies at St Paul, Scotforth and St Martin-in-the-Fields she was the Dean of Women's Ministry in the City of London, Two City of Westminster, Cities Area from 2006 to 2015. In 2016 she became the Associate Archdeacon of London, working with Luke Miller, the Archdeacon of London. She was collated to the Archdeaconry of Charing Cross, but her title was later revised to "Archdeacon for the Two Cities". Heather Hancock
Heather Jane Hancock (born 27 August 1965) is a former civil servant who has held numerous positions related to North Yorkshire. Since 1 October 2020, she has been Master of St John's College, Cambridge. Early life and education Hancock was born Heather Jane Wilkinson on 27 August 1965 in Colne, Lancashire, England. She was educated at Park High School, Colne and Nelson and Colne College. She studied land economy at St John's College, Cambridge, gaining a first class degree. Kirsty Soames is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Natalie Gumede. She made her first on-screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 7 September 2011. On 21 February 2013, Gumede announced she was leaving the soap at the end of her current storyline.
