Parivar (1967 Film)
''Parivar '' () is a 1967 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced and directed by Kewal P Kashyap on K.P.K. Movies banner. It stars Jeetendra and Nanda, with music composed by Kalyanji–Anandji. Plot Gopal (Jeetendra) a medico falls in love with a girl Meena (Nanda) on a bus journey. Gopal lives with his father Karamchand (Om Prakash), the only breadwinner of a huge family. Since Gopal is a stepson to his virago wife Bhagwanti (Sulochana Latkar), she scorns and evicts him. Time passes, Gopal becomes a doctor, couples up with Meena, and is blessed with 3 children. Besides, Karamchand goes indebted as he is unable to sustain the family. Moreover, his lecherous friend Diwanchand Rai (Krishan Dhawan) lusts for one of his daughters Sapna (Madhavi). Jeetendra
Ravi Kapoor ( ; born 7 April 1942), known mononymously by his screen name Jeetendra, is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He also serves as the chairman of the Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures. Early life Jeetendra was born in a Punjabi Khatri family as Ravi Kapoor in Amritsar, Punjab, to Amarnath and Krishna Kapoor, whose business dealt with imitation jewellery, supplied to film industry. He attended St. Sebastian's Goan High School in Girgaum, Mumbai with his friend Rajesh Khanna and then studied at Siddharth College in Mumbai. While supplying jewellery to V. Shantaram, he was cast as Sandhya's character's double in the 1959 movie ''Navrang''. Career Jeetendra's active acting career spanned the 1960s to the 1990s. Sarita Joshi (''née'' Bhosle) is an Indian stage, television and film actress and is a veteran actress of Gujarati theatre and Marathi theatre and also Marathi cinema. Kalyanji Virji Shah (30 June 1928 – 24 August 2000) was the ''Kalyanji'' of the Kalyanji-Anandji duo. He and his brother Anandji Virji Shah have been famous Indian film musicians, and won the 1975 Filmfare Award for Best Music Director, for ''Kora Kagaz''. He is a recipient of the civilian honour of Padma Shri (1992). Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' (Hamraaz).
