Paramesvaravarman I (Champa)
Paramesvaravarman I (Chinese: 波美稅褐印茶; pinyin: ''Bōměishuìhè Yìnchá''; Vietnamese: ''Phê Mị Thuế''), alias Parameśvara Yang Pu Indra (Chinese: 波美稅楊布印茶; pinyin: ''Bōměishuì Yáng Bù Yìnchá''), was the king of Champa of the Sixth dynasty, ruling from 972 to 982. Paramesvaravarman showed great punctuality in relations with Song China. He sent no less than seven embassies between 972 and 979. Champa went to conflict with the new independent Vietnamese kingdom of Đại Việt during his reign. In October 979, king Đinh Bộ Lĩnh and prince Đinh Liễn of Dai Viet were killed by a eunuch named Đỗ Thích while they were sleeping in the palace courtyard, and unrest took placed in Dai Viet. King Of Champa
King of Champa is the title ruler of Champa. Champa rulers often use two Hinduist style titles: ''raja-di-raja'' ( " king of kings"; written here in Devanagari since the Cham used their own Cham script) or ''po-tana-raya'' ("lord of all territories"). The regnal name of the Champa rulers originated from the Hindu tradition, often consisting of titles and aliases. Titles (prefix) like: Jaya ( "victory"), Maha ( "great"), Sri ( "glory"). Aliases (stem) like: Bhadravarman, Vikrantavarman, Rudravarman, Simhavarman, Indravarman, Paramesvaravarman, Harivarman... Among them, the suffix -varman belongs to the Kshatriya class and is only for those leaders of the Champa Alliance. Lê Hoàn
Lê Hoàn (10 August 941 – 18 March 1005), posthumously title Lê Đại Hành, was a Vietnamese emperor and the third ruler of Dai Viet kingdom, ruling from 981 to 1005. He first served as the generalissimo commanding a ten-thousand man army of the Dai Viet court under the reign of Đinh Bộ Lĩnh. Following the death of Đinh Bộ Lĩnh in late 979, Lê Hoàn became regent to Đinh Bộ Lĩnh's successor, the six-year-old Đinh Toàn. Lê Hoàn deposed the boy king, married his mother, Queen Duong Van Nga, and in 980 he became the ruler. He commanded the Viet army fended off a northern invasion in 981, then led a seaborne invasion of the southern Champa kingdom in 982. Early career Lê Hoàn was born in 941, a native of Ai Province ( Thanh Hoa). He rose to power as a general of the Hoa Lu warlord Đinh Bộ Lĩnh. Ngô Nhật Khánh
Ngô Nhật Khánh ( vi-hantu, 吳日慶, died 979), formally Prince An (安王), was a Vietnamese warlord during the Period of the 12 Warlords. Khánh was a grandson of Ngô Quyền. Đinh Liễn
Đinh Liễn (丁璉, 940 – October 979) or Đinh Khuông Liễn (丁匡璉), was the eldest son of emperor Đinh Bộ Lĩnh, the founding emperor of Đinh dynasty. Liễn was granted the title ''Nam Việt vương'' (南越王, "king of Nam Việt") after his father ascended the throne. Liễn was sent to Song China to pay tribute in 973, and was granted the title Grand Preceptor of Inspection (檢校太師 ''Kiểm hiệu thái sư''), ''Jiedushi'' of ''Tĩnh Hải quân'' (靜海軍節度使 ''Tĩnh Hải quân tiết độ sứ'') and Governor of the Protectorate General to Pacify the South (安南都護 ''An Nam đô hộ'') by Song Taizu.
