Paradise (A-Reece Album)
''Paradise'' is the debut studio album by South African hip-hop artist A-Reece. It was released by Ambitiouz Entertainment on 21 October 2016. It features guest appearances from Emtee, P-Jay (member of hip hop duo B3nchMarQ and A-Reece's older brother) and Amanda Black. ''Paradise'' topped the iTunes chart under 24 hours of release. Singles The album's first single, "Couldn't" which features rapper Emtee, was released on 18 December 2015. The second single, "Mgani" (correctly spelt as "Mngani") which means friend in the Zulu language was released on 3 June 2016. The album's third single "Zimbali" was released on 13 September 2016. The fourth single "Sebenza", meaning "Work" in Zulu was released on 23 September 2016 accompanied by its music video, it features singer Amanda Black. Content removal After departing from Ambitiouz Entertainment, the former label removed all of A-Reece's music videos from their YouTube channel. Millions of views were removed. Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge (born March 27, 1997), known professionally as A-Reece, is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was raised in Pretoria, Gauteng. A-Reece was under Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2015, but with no paper work signed yet . He gained popularity in 2015 following the release of his single, "Couldn't", which featured the rapper Emtee. After disputes with management of the label, he left to become an independent artist late 2016. A-Reece released his debut studio album, ''Paradise'' (2016) which produced the singles, "Couldn't" and "Mgani". In 2017, A-Reece released his second album ''From Me to You & Only You.'' Ambitiouz Entertainment is a South African independent record label owned and founded by Kgosi Mahumapelo. The label was founded in April 2015 and houses notable acts including, G-Star Da Hustler, Lucky Man, MeekTrapBorn, Kid Tini and Kiddest Gola. Tweezy
Tumelo Thandokuhle Mathebula (born 24 October 1992), professionally known as Tweezy, is a South African record producer and rapper from Johannesburg, South Africa. Early life and career Tumelo Mathebula moved to Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province after the passing of his parents at the age of 6. He was introduced to a music making software called FL Studio in grade 10 which he thought was a "music making game", he later discovered that it was in fact a music making software. He joined a music group called "Ghetto Prophecy" that consisted of 8 members. The group produced a song called "Oh My" which ranked number 16 on the top 40 songs of YFM and was played frequently on Metro FM as well as 5FM in 2011. The group unfortunately disbanded because of the lack of funding which is when Tweezy decided to venture into the music industry as a producer. Mthembeni Ndevu, better known by his stage name Emtee (stylized as eMTee) is a South African rapper. He was born in Matatiele and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in talent shows. His career began at the age of 17 and his debut hit single, " Roll Up" was released in 2015 to critical acclaim. Amanda Benedicta Antony (born 24 July 1993), known professionally as Amanda Black, is a South African singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Gcuwa her career began in 1999 at the age of 6 singing in church choirs. Amanda was a contestant on ''Idols'' South Africa season 11. Black relocated to Johannesburg in 2016 to pursue her career in music. She signed a record deal with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2016 and achieved recognition in same year following the release of her hit single "Amazulu", which was nominated for several music awards. Zulu (), or isiZulu as an endonym, is a Southern Bantu language of the Nguni branch spoken in Southern Africa. Jabulani Hadebe (born 2 December 1983), known professionally as Sjava, is a South African singer, rapper, and actor. He began his acting career in 2005, starring in several drama series and films including '' uGugu no Andile'' (2009). The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings.
