Paolo Bolpagni
Paolo Bolpagni (born in Brescia) is an Italian art historian, critic and curator. Life Bolpagni was born in Brescia, in Lombardy in northern Italy. He graduated in letters from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia, and then completed a doctorate in history of art at the same university in Milan. Since 2010 he has taught at the Brescia campus of the university. He also teaches at the Università degli Studi eCampus. From 2008 to 2011, and again from 2013, he was director of the in Concesio, in the province of Brescia, and in 2016 became director of the Fondazione Centro Studi sull'Arte Licia e Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti in Lucca, in Tuscany. He won the Premio Sulmona for history of art in 2013; he is the youngest person to have won the prize. Giuseppe Capogrossi (7 March 1900 – 9 October 1972) was an Italian painter. Biography Capogrossi was born in Rome. After obtaining a degree in law in 1923–1924, he decided to study painting with Felice Carena at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. In 1927 Capogrossi embarked on a formative trip to Paris together with fellow artist and acquaintance Fausto Pirandello. In the 1930s Capogrossi participated to many group exhibitions in Rome, Venice and Milan and Paris, usually as associate to the so-called "Scuola romana" ("Roman school"). Alberto Burri (12 March 191513 February 1995; ) was an Italian visual artist, painter, sculptor, and physician based in Città di Castello. He is associated with the matterism of the European informal art movement and described his style as a polymaterialist. He had connections with Lucio Fontana's spatialism and, with Antoni Tàpies, an influence on the revival of the art of post-war assembly in America (Robert Rauschenberg) as in Europe. Anna Kuliscioff (; rus, Анна Кулишёва, , ˈanːə kʊlʲɪˈʂovə; born Anna Moiseyevna Rozenshtein, ; 9 January 1857 – 27 December 1925) was a Russian-Italian revolutionary of Jewish origin, a prominent feminist, an anarchist influenced by Mikhail Bakunin, and eventually a Marxist socialist militant.
