''Panty Raid'' is the eighth studio album released by American punk rock band Zebrahead. The album consists entirely of cover songs by female pop artists of the past two decades, including singers such as Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears. Singles *"Girlfriend" - a cover of the song originally by Avril Lavigne, was released as the lead single from the album in September 2009. The song peaked at #84 on the U.S Alternative Songs chart, a music video - parodying the original music video for "Girlfriend", accompanied the single's release. *"Underneath It All" - a cover of the song originally by No Doubt, was released as the second and final single from the album in January 2010. Zebrahead
Zebrahead is an American rap-punk band from La Habra, California. Formed in 1996, the band has released thirteen studio albums to date. History 1996–2001: Formation and early years Zebrahead was formed in La Habra, California in summer 1996 by guitarist Greg Bergdorf and drummer Ed Udhus, (both formerly of the band 409), bassist Ben Osmundson (formerly of 3-Ply) and singer/rhythm guitarist Justin Mauriello (formerly of Once There). All four musicians, whose bands at the time shared the same practice space, became acquainted with one another after experimenting with different music styles together. Shampoo were an English female pop music duo in the 1990s, formed by Jacqueline "Jacqui" Blake (born 23 November 1974 in Woolwich) and Caroline "Carrie" Askew (born 4 May 1977 in Plumstead). Their 1994 song " Trouble" reached number 11 in the UK Singles Chart and was featured in 1995's '' Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie''. He wrote, composed, and recorded the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" in 1979, which was covered in 1983 by Cyndi Lauper, who turned it into a best-selling hit.
