Pantokrator (band)
Pantokrator is a Swedish Christian metal band that was formed in 1996. The band's name means "Lord Almighty" in Ancient Greek. Several members have been in Crimson Moonlight and Sanctifica. Background Pantokrator was formed in fall 1996 as a cover band. The band then decided to play songs written by themselves. It has had six members overall: Jonas Wallinder (bass guitar), Rickard Gustafsson (drums), Karl Walfridsson (vocals) and Matthias Johansson, and Johnathan Jansson (guitars). Pantokrator released two demos within their first three years of existence, followed by several EPs and compilations of material they had accumulated until they officially released their debut album, ''Blod'', which was released via Rivel Records on March 14, 2003. At that point, the band members had been together without losing a member for six years, only adding guitarist Jonathan Jansson in 2003. Soul Embraced
Soul Embraced is a Christian melodic death metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas, Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. It was originally a side project for Rocky Gray and David Sroczynski. History Originally a side project of drummer David Sroczynski and William "Rocky" Gray from Shredded Corpse formed in 1997, the band dissolved after creating one song for a metal compilation in 1998. Gray reformed the band with fellow Living Sacrifice member Lance Garvin (drums) and his brother in-law Chad Moore (vocals). When Gray and Garvin weren't busy with Living Sacrifice, they would hammer away with Charlie T. West at making material for their death metal side project. Golden Resurrection
Per Christian Liljegren (born 3 February 1971), is best known as the lead vocalist, and primary lyricist, for the Swedish Christian melodic power metal band, Narnia. Liljegren is also the frontman of the metal bands Audiovision, Divinefire, Flagship, and Wisdom Call. He is also the owner of the Liljegren Records label which features bands such as Divinefire, Crimson Moonlight, Sanctifica, Grimmark, Harmony, Veni Domine, and Majestic Vanguard. He changed his last name to Rivel by choosing to take his wife's last name when they were married. After the divorce in 2008 he changed his name back to Liljegren. Symphonic black metal is a subgenre of black metal that emerged in the 1990s and incorporates symphonic and orchestral elements. Symphony of Heaven is a Christian blackened death metal band from Owensville, Indiana, United States. The band began in 2017 as a solo project, but morphed into a full band by 2019, consisting of Logan Thompson (guitars/vocals), David Napier (bass), Eero Tertsunen (guitars), and Mason Beard (drums).
