Pantelis Kapetanos
Pantelis Kapetanos ( el, Παντελής Καπετάνος; born 8 June 1983) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker and is known for his last minute goals and for the tendency to score them with his head, which he celebrates by covering his forehead with his forearm. Club career Kapetanos started his career in his native Greece, playing for Kozani, Iraklis and AEK Athens, with whom he competed in the UEFA Champions' League. Steaua București In July 2008 he joined Steaua București on a free transfer, signing a one-year contract. In his first season at Steaua, Kapetanos was the club's top scorer with Bogdan Stancu, scoring 11 goals. The Steaua board extended his contract for two years, and he finished the 2009–10 season as the club's leading scorer in Liga I, with 15 goals, and in all competitions, with 19 goals. Ptolemaida
Ptolemaida ( el, Πτολεμαΐδα, Ptolemaïda, Katharevousa: Πτολεμαΐς, ''Ptolemaïs'') is a town and a former municipality in Kozani regional unit, Western Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Eordaia, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It is known for its coal (lignite) mines and its power stations. Name During the Ottoman period the city was called Kayılar (English: Kailar, Germanic: Kajilar), rendered into English as ''Kaïlar''. This name was retained in Greek as ''Kailaria'' (Καϊλάρια) until 1927. Kailar refers to the Kayı tribe, the tribe of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The modern name Ptolemaida was introduced by decree on January 20, 1927, honoring Ptolemy I Soter, son of Lagus, comrade-in-arms of Alexander the Great and founder of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and his daughter Ptolemaïs, who are said to originate from that region.
