Panta Džambazoski
Panta Džambazoski ( mk, Панта Џамбазоски) (born 9 October 1960) is a musician and journalist from the Republic of Macedonia. He was first drummer of the Macedonian rock band Mizar, of which he chose the name. He was in the band for seven years. For a short while after that he was in the band Berlin Gori. In 1988 he joined Arhangel. He is now a journalist for the television station TV Telma. Biography At the end of 1988, Panta Dzambazovski was the first drummer in the group Arhangel, founded by Risto Vrtev. Today, Panta Dzambazovski is a news editor at TV Telma, one of the most watched private televisions with a national license in Macedonia. Mizar (band)
Mizar ( mk, Мизар ) is a Macedonian rock band from Skopje. They achieved a status of a cult band, especially in Macedonia and across the former Yugoslavian countries. The group is notable for its first self-titled album, as it was the first popular music album in the former Yugoslavian countries in Macedonian. The album was a major success and it is listed among the top ten rock albums ever released in former Yugoslavian countries. Mizar was formed in 1981 in the then Socialist Republic of Macedonia. Because of the band's avant-garde sound and image, its Christian leanings and support for Macedonian self-determination, they were viewed with certain degree of suspicion by the former authorities. Arhangel
Arhangel ( mk, Архангел , ''archangel'') is a Macedonian alternative rock band formed in 1989. The frontman is Risto Vrtev who has also been part of such rock bands as Mizar and Inola X. The original line-up is: Risto Vrtev, Dragan Ginovski, Panta Džambazoski (drums) and Dejan Argirovski. Arhangel has released five albums (four studio and one live) which have been met with both critical and commercial success. Anastasia ( mk, Анастасија, Anastasija) was a Macedonian music group. The band was formed in 1987 as Apokrifna Realnost and changed their name to Anastasia in 1989. Goran Trajkoski
Goran Trajkoski ( mk, Горан Трајкоски) (born 21 November 1963) is a Macedonian musician. He rose to international prominence as a frontman of the group Anastasija which was featured on the soundtrack album for the Academy Award-nominated movie '' Before the Rain'' directed by Milčo Mančevski. He started his musical career as a member of the punk rock band Afektiven naboj from Struga. After moving to Skopje he joined the punk band Saraceni led by Vladimir Petrovski Karter. Later he was a vocalist of the influential 1980s group Padot na Vizantija. He played bass guitar in the Macedonian cult band Mizar from 1986 until 1987. After the reunion of Mizar in the 2000s, Goran Trajkovski became its new frontman.
