Panegialios
Panegialios ( el, Παναιγιάλειος Γ.Σ. (''Panegialios Gymnastics Club'', referring to Aigialeia, a subprefecture covering the northeastern part of Achaea) is a football club based in Aigio, Greece. Panegialios has a long tradition in Greek football championships and has several appearances in the Greek Super League (former A' Ethniki), 2nd Division and 3rd Division. Additionally the team has reached twice the semi-finals of the Greek Cup competition. Panegialios is one of the most successful and popular teams in Achaea and Peloponnese. History The club was founded on 25 February 1927 in Egio by local selected community members. The man who inspired the idea of the formation of a football club in Egio was Zisimos Livas. Livas, a well-known architect, together with Nick Gardeniotis, C. Sakellaropoulos, Ir. Anastasopoulos, K. Eliopoulos, K. Liritzis, Chr. Papandianos, etc. have established Panegialios G.S. Achaea Football Clubs Association
Achaea Football Clubs Association ( el, Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Αχαΐας) is one of the oldest Greek amateur football clubs associations, representing teams from the Greek regional unit of Achaea. History It was founded in 1927 in Patras. Members included teams from the prefectures of Aetolia-Acarnania, Elis, Kefalonia and Zakynthos. Aetolia-Acarnania established its own association in 1969, Elis and Zakynthos in 1971, and in 1975 Kefalonia (as Kefalonia and Ithaca Football Clubs Association). The 2012–13 Football League 2 was the 30th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. 2014–15 Football League (Greece)
The 2014–15 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the fifth season under the name Football League after previously being known as ''Beta Ethniki''. This is the second season since 1982–83, and the third season overall, that the league has more than one group. The groups are created based on geographical criteria. Notes Doxa Drama and Aris withdrew from the league before the North Group draw. As a result of this the group left with only 12 teams and Fokikos moved from the South Group to the North Group. North Group In the North Group, as well as in the South Group, the top three teams of each group will qualify for a playoff round, to determine which two teams will be promoted to the Super League. Alpha Ethniki
The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. The league was formed on 16 July 2006 and replaced ''Alpha Ethniki'' at the top of the Greek football league system. It consists of 14 teams and runs from August to May, with teams playing 26 games. As of May 2022, Super League Greece is ranked 15th in the UEFA ranking of leagues, based on performances in European competitions over the last five years. 2018–19 Gamma Ethniki
The 2018–19 Gamma Ethniki is the 36th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. It start on 30 September 2018. This year 12 teams will be promoted. After the finish of the eight groups, the first team of each group will be promoted to Football League and then the 8 runner-up teams after draw will play two legs to determine which four teams will be promoted. 107 teams are divided into eight groups according to geographical criteria. The 2017–18 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football league system and the seventh season under the name Football League after previously being known as ''Beta Ethniki''.
