Panasonic Gobel Awards
The Panasonic Gobel Awards (formerly Panasonic Awards), are the annual awards presented to television programs and performances in Indonesia based on a people's choice poll. The first award was held in 1997 in partnership with ''Tabloid Citra'' and aired on Indosiar. Media Nusantara Citra have conducted the awards since 2000 and its broadcasting rights have been held by RCTI. Since 2003, TPI and Global TV also televising the awards. In 2004, ''Tabloid Citra'' stopped polling and instead started using survey data from Nielsen Media Research with the results tabulated and audited by Ernst & Young. Since 2013, MNC Channels have also broadcast the Panasonic Gobel Awards. Since 2017, UseeTV and iNews have also broadcast the Panasonic Gobel Awards. The event was handed over to other broadcaster since then. In 2018, TVRI took over the Panasonic Gobel Awards. Indonesian Television Awards
The Indonesian Television Awards (abbreviated as ITA) is an annual awards for the most popular television program, television personality and musician in Indonesia. It based on a poll of viewers' top of mind regarding television programs in Indonesia conducted in 22 cities from 17 provinces in Indonesia by Roy Morgan Research. The award was first held in 2016 and broadcast by RCTI and MNCTV. A total of 12 categories were selected from the results of a survey conducted by the Roy Morgan Research and Provetic team based on a direct survey among the community in 22 cities in 17 provinces. According to Roy Morgan's Client Service Director Ningsih Soemitro, Roy Morgan conducted a direct survey to television viewers to find out which television programs were favorites, seen from top of mind or remembered spontaneously by viewers. The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, recognizing people in entertainment, voted online by the general public and fans. The show has been held annually since 1975, with the winners originally determined using Gallup Polls until a switch to online voting in 2005.
