Pan Wei-ta
Pan Wei-ta (; born 24 March 1956) is a Taiwanese lawyer. Pan was educated at University of Nebraska College of Law and Tulane University. He has served on the board of directors of several Taiwanese companies, including Quanta Computer Quanta Computer Incorporated () () is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of notebook computers and other electronic hardware. Its customers include Apple Inc., Dell, Hewlett-Packard Inc., Acer Inc., Alienware, Amazon.com, Cisco, Fujitsu, Gericom, Lenov ..., China Life Insurance Company, and Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation, among others. Pan teaches law at Soochow University, and succeeded Huang Chen-tai as university president in 2012. His younger sister Tina Pan is a former Kuomintang legislator. Huang Chen-tai
Huang Chen-tai (; born 17 October 1948) is a Taiwanese educator and politician. He was vice minister of the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission from 1991 to 1994, before assuming the same position at the Ministry of Education until 1995. Subsequently, he was named president of Feng Chia University, where he served until his 1998 appointment as minister of the National Science Council. Huang stepped down from the position in 2000 and became active in the John Tung Foundation. In 2008, Huang left the FCU faculty and became the president of Soochow University. He was named commissioner of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in 2012 and served until his resignation in 2014. Tina Pan
Tina Pan (; born 31 March 1957) is a Taiwanese politician. She was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 2002 and again between 2005 and 2016. Education Pan earned a doctorate in political science at National Taiwan Normal University. Electoral history She served on the Taipei County Council from 1982 to 1993, when she first won election to the Legislative Yuan. Pan ran in the 2001 elections, but lost. She returned to the Legislative Yuan from 2005 to 2016. Having represented Taipei for most of her legislative career, Pan was placed on the Kuomintang proportional representation party list starting in 2007 and again in 2011.
