Joakim Palme
Per Joakim Palme (born 18 May 1958) is a Swedish political scientist and sociologist. He is the eldest son of Olof Palme, who was Prime Minister of Sweden until his assassination in 1986, and his wife Lisbeth Palme. Career Since 2009, Palme is a professor of political science at Uppsala University. Since 2002 he has been CEO of the Institute for Future Studies. Between 2003 and 2009, he was adjunct professor of sociology at Stockholm University. Anna Lisbeth Christina Palme (née Beck-Friis; 14 March 1931 – 18 October 2018) was a Swedish children's psychologist, UNICEF chairwoman and the wife of Swedish prime minister Olof Palme, until his assassination in 1986. Biography Early life and studies Anna Lisbeth Christina Beck-Friis was born to civil engineer and baron Christian Beck-Friis and his wife Anna-Lisa Beck-Friis (née Bolling). After graduating from the ''Nya Elementarskolan för flickor'' (New Elementary School for Girls) in Stockholm in 1950, she studied at Stockholm University, graduating in the summer of 1955. Career Palme worked as a children's psychologist and was during a period of time employed at Stockholm County Council, and later at the social department for Stockholm county. Claës Palme
Johan Claës Woldemar Palme (31 May 1917 – 21 April 2006) was a Swedish lawyer who was specialized in maritime law. He was the son of Gunnar Palme and the brother of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme and of Catharina Palme Nilzén. Claës Palme was maritime law expert and ran his own law firm. He was also a reservist in the Swedish Navy. The Soviet Union hired him to sue the Swedish Government as the Soviet ship Tsesis run aground at the entrance of Södertälje. He won the case, which attracted much attention because of his brother Olof Palme, who, concurrently served as Prime Minister of Sweden. Claës Palme was also the author of maritime items and a long-time representative for the Swedish Maritime Administration while in court. Johann Karl ''Woldemar'' von Knieriem (1 August 1849 – 14 January 1935) was a Baltic Germans, Baltic German agricultural scientist and Riga Technical University faculty.
