Paddy Pallin
Frank Austin "Paddy" Pallin (1900 – 3 January 1991) was an Australian pioneer bushwalking and camping equipment retailer. He is best known for the ''Paddy Pallin'' chain of outdoors equipment stores he founded. Biography Born in County Durham, England, in 1900, Pallin developed a love for the outdoors while on family picnics and Scout trips to the Yorkshire countryside. After he emigrated to Sydney, Australia, in 1926 he worked initially as a sharefarmer and then as an insurance clerk. He became an original member of the Sydney Bush Walkers Club which was founded in 1927 and then, becoming a victim of the great depression in 1930, he began making lightweight, waterproof outdoor equipment and clothing. His business soon began to pay for itself when people realised bushwalking was a cheap activity and no one else was making high quality bush equipment. Rob Pallin
Rob Pallin (born November 19, 1966, in Chisholm, Minnesota) is a professional ice hockey coach from the United States. He is serving as head coach of Austrian team HC TWK Innsbruck. Playing career Pallin started skating at the age of three in his hometown Chisholm, Minnesota. He played for the Austin Mavericks and helped them win the 1984 USHL championship. He played ice hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (1985–87), before transferring to Western Michigan University in 1988. Following graduation, Pallin turned pro and played in Germany, France as well as for the Las Vegas Aces in the PSHL and WCHL sides Reno Rage and Fresno Falcons. Coaching career Pallin began his coaching career in Las Vegas, where he coached at the AA Midget 18 under and 16 under level and AAA Midget 18 under level. Adam Pallin, also known by his stage name 1-900, is an American record producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was the producer/programmer half of the pop duo Little Jackie with Imani Coppola. His production and songwriting often blend quirky, vintage aesthetic with cleverly crafted pop.
