The Pacific Fútbol Club, commonly known as Pacific, was a Mexican football club based in Mazatlán. The club was founded on 2017 and played in Liga Premier – Serie A. In 2019, the club went on hiatus, before being officially dissolved in 2020, following the club not being reactivated in the period allowed by league regulations, as well as the creation of Mazatlán F.C., which plays in Liga MX, fulfilling the initial goal of Pacific to bring professional football to the city. History In June 2017, the board of Murciélagos F.C. decided to rename his reserve team, Murciélagos de Guamúchil, as Pacific F.C., in this way the team was enabled to seek promotion to Ascenso MX. Also, it was determined that the new club would be based in Mazatlán instead of Guamúchil. The change of venue included the construction project of a football stadium in the city. Estadio Teodoro Mariscal
The Estadio Teodoro Mariscal is a stadium in Mazatlán, Mexico. It is primarily used for baseball and serves as the home stadium for Venados de Mazatlán. and it is the stadium in which Mexico won its first home Caribbean Series championship. The stadium has also hosted the Caribbean Series on five occasions; 1978, 1985, 1993, and 2005. The stadium was built in 1962 and expanded in 2000. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX. Venados de Mazatlán ( en, Mazatlán Deer) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. In 2016, the team won the Mexican Pacific League Championship and went on to win their second Caribbean Series, which was played in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 2004–2005 season In the 2004–2005 season, the Venados of Mazatlán won the Mexican Pacific League title for the seventh time. The Caribbean Series was held at Teodoro Mariscal Stadium in Mazatlán, and the Venados performed well out of the gate, winning twice against the Dominican Republic's Águilas Cibaeñas and Puerto Rico's Indios de Mayaguez. Los Mochis
Los Mochis () is a coastal city in northern Sinaloa, Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of Ahome. As of the 2010 census, the population was 362,613, which was 61 percent of the municipality's population. Mazatlán
Mazatlán () is a city in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. The city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding ''municipio'', known as the Mazatlán Municipality. It is located at on the Pacific coast, across from the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula. ''Mazatlán'' is a Nahuatl word meaning "place of deer". The city was founded in 1531 by an army of Spaniards and indigenous people. By the mid-19th century, a large group of immigrants arrived from Germany.
