''Linnaisten vihreä kamari'' (''The Green Chamber of Linnais'') is a 1945 Finnish film directed by Valentin Vaala. Mixing elements of horror and romance, it is based on an 1859 novel ''The Green Chamber of the Linnainen Mansion'' (''Linnaisten kartanon viheriä kamari'') by Zachris Topelius. The film represents the style of pure escapism with its mansion settings filled with romances, wrong identities and centuries-old secrets. It was the most watched Finnish premiere film of 1945 and went on to win three Jussi Awards; Rauli Tuomi for best actor in a leading role, Eino Heino for best cinematography and Roy for best production design. Reception ''Linnaisten vihreä kamari'' received mixed reviews. It was noted for achieving to create a genuine historical-romantic atmosphere. ''The Radio Burglary'' ( fi, Radio tekee murron) is a 1951 Finnish crime comedy directed by Matti Kassila and starring Hannes Häyrinen. The idea for the movie came from an actual radio program done by sensationalist reporter Usko Santavuori, in which he committed a fake burglary of which local police forces had not been made aware, with the exception of the commander. Plot Toivo Teräsvuori (Häyrinen) is a young radio journalist who's looking for new, interesting topics on which to report. After covering a skydive on a live broadcast, he gets the idea to stage a fake burglary for his next daring stunt. He shares this idea with his friend and fellow radio employee Laakso, whom he persuades to go along with the plan without notifying either their superiors in the radio station, nor the police. The story is set in the year 2012. The script was written by Peter von Bagh, Jarva, and Jaakko Pakkasvirta. The girl was played by Ritva Vepsä and the muckraking journalist (transparently based on Veikko Ennala) taking a foray into idealism by Arto Tuominen. The film premiered 2 July 1969.
