PSA Masters
The PSA Masters is a prestigious squash tournament which is one of the premier events on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour. It is the only PSA World Tour event which is open exclusively to the top 32 players in the world rankings, and is part of the PSA World Series. From 2000-01, the event was held in Egypt. It then moved to Qatar from 2002-04, and to Bermuda from 2005-06. The event was not held in 2007-08, and was then staged in New Delhi, India India, officially the Republic of India (Hindi: ), is a country in South Asia. New Delhi
New Delhi (, , ''Naī Dillī'') is the capital of India and a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). Nick Matthew
Nicholas Matthew (born 25 July 1980 in Sheffield) is a former English professional squash player who has won the two most prestigious tournaments in the professional game, the British Open and the World Open, three times each. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 1 in June 2010. His home club is Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club in Sheffield which has named 'The Nick Matthew Showcourt' after him. He married Esme Taylor, a sports physiologist who has worked with British Cycling, in 2013 and the couple celebrated the birth of their first child Charlotte Rose on 9 September 2014. Jenny Duncalf
Jennifer Duncalf (born 10 November 1982) is a former professional squash player from England. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 2 in December 2009. Career Duncalf was born in Haarlem, Netherlands but was a pupil at Harrogate Grammar School where she attended from 1994-2001. As a junior player, she won the European Junior Championship title. Duncalf won the European Individual Championship title in 2006 and 2007, and the British National Championship title in 2007 and 2009. She was also a member of the England team which won the World Team Squash Championships in 2006. In 2008, she finished runner-up at the British Open (losing in the final to Nicol David). Stewart Boswell
Stewart Boswell (born 29 July 1978 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory) is a professional squash player from Australia. Career Overview In 2003, Boswell had been ranked in the world's top-10 for two years and had reached a career-high ranking of World No. 4, when a mystery back ailment forced him to stop playing. He returned to the professional tour in 2005. On his return, he won six of the tour's lower-ranking tournaments in a row, and two further lower-ranking tournaments later in the year. Thierry Lincou
Thierry Lincou (born 2 April 1976, in La Réunion) is a retired professional squash player from France. He reached the World No. 1 ranking in January 2004. That year, Lincou won the World Open title, the Hong Kong Open and the Super Series Finals. He has been known as one of the greatest lateral movers in the game, as well as being one of the fittest players in the history of squash. John White (squash Player)
John White (born 15 June 1973 in Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia) is a former World No. 1 squash player. Career overview White finished runner-up at both the World Open and the British Open in 2002. He won the PSA Masters title in 2003 (beating Thierry Lincou in the final 15–8, 17–15, 17–16). David Palmer (squash Player)
David Troy Palmer (born 28 June 1976 in Lithgow, New South Wales) is a retired professional squash player from Australia. He won the Super Series finals in 2002, the World Open in 2002 and 2006; the British Open in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008; and the Australian Open in 2008. He attained World No. 1 ranking in September 2001 and again (for one month) in February 2006. Lee Beachill
Lee Beachill (born 28 November 1977 in Huddersfield, United Kingdom) is a former World No. 1 squash player from England. Beachill reached the World No. 1 ranking in October 2004. He also finished runner-up at the World Open that year. Beachill was part of the English team which won the World Team Squash Championships in 2005. He has also won gold medals for England in the men's doubles at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and 2006, partnering Peter Nicol on both occasions. Jonathon Tyler Power (born August 9, 1974) is a retired professional squash player from Canada. In 1999, he became the first North American squash player to reach the World No. 1 ranking. Peter Nicol
Peter Nicol (born 5 April 1973) is a former professional squash player from Scotland, who represented first Scotland and then England in international squash. In 1998, while still competing for Scotland, he became the first player from the UK to hold the World No. 1 ranking. During his career, he won one World Open title, two British Open titles, and four Commonwealth Games Gold Medals. Amr Shabana
Amr Shabana (; born 20 July 1979 in Cairo) is a former professional squash player from Egypt. He won the World Open in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009, and reached the World No. 1 ranking in 2006. He represented the winning Egyptian team in the 1999 Men's World Team Squash Championships held in Cairo and the 2009 Men's World Team Squash Championships held in Denmark. Shabana's accomplishments in professional squash lead many to regard him as one of the greatest players of all time.
