PNC (rapper)
Sam Hansen, better known by his stage name PNC, is a New Zealand hip hop artist and rapper. The name "PNC" is an acronym for Palmerston North City. He attended Awatapu College. PNC first gained underground notoriety performing alongside Breaking Wreckwordz. His unofficial single "Day in the Life" stayed at number one on the Bfm charts for three weeks. He followed that with appearances on P-Money's "321 Remix", "Get Back" and the NZ chart topping "Stop The Music" single from the ''Magic City'' album in 2004. PNC later signed to P-Money's Dirty Records and released his first album, ''Rookie Card'', in 2006. The first two singles, "Bomb!" and "Just Roll", were relatively successful songs in New Zealand. He followed with hit singles P-N-Whoa! and "Who Betta Than This" (which samples the song "3,2,1 Remix"). Aubrey Drake Graham ( ; born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper and singer. An influential figure in contemporary popular music, Drake has been credited for popularizing singing and R&B sensibilities in hip hop. ''Magic City'' is the second studio album by New Zealand music producer P-Money. It was released in late 2004 through Dirty Records with distribution via Festival Mushroom Records. Production was handled entirely by P-Money, who also served as executive producer together with Callum August. It features guest appearances from Con Psy, Scribe, Aasim, PNC, Skillz, Sauce Money, Jatis, Akon, Capone, Mystro, Roc Raida and Tyna. Known for mixing pop with R&B, jazz and rock musical elements, her accolades include four ARIA Music Awards, two Grammy Awards and seven New Zealand Music Awards. Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born 7 November 1996), known professionally as Lorde ( ), is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. Taking inspiration from aristocracy for her stage name, she is known for her unconventional musical styles and introspective songwriting. Nesian Mystik
Nesian Mystik was a New Zealand Hip hop music, hip-hop/Contemporary R&B, R&B group which formed in 1999. The cultural backgrounds of its members united a remarkable diversity of Polynesia by bringing together Cook Islands, Cook Island, Tongans, Tongan, Samoans, Samoan and Māori people, Maori ancestry.
