PLK Best Young Player
The PLK Best Young Player award was an annual award in the Polish PLK that is given to the best player with the requirement for the player to be under 21 years old. A select group press members voted for the winner of the award. The last time the award was handed out was in the 2014–15 season. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995). In 2000–01 season the league turned professional. The PLK, which is played under FIBA Europe, FIBA rules, currently consists of 16 teams. Michał Kwiatkowski (basketball Player)
Michał Kwiatkowski ( , born 2 June 1990) is a Polish professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Kwiatkowski is seen as a strong all rounder, with good sprinting, time-trialling and climbing abilities allowing him to win both stage races and one day classics. His talent was shown early in his career, winning the World Junior Time Trial Championships in 2008. In 2014, Kwiatkowski became the world elite road race champion, and he was also a member of the team that won the 2013 World Team Time Trial Championships. In 2017 he won his first 'Monument', Milan–San Remo, while in 2018, he won Tirreno–Adriatico and the Tour de Pologne. KKS Polonia Warsaw - is a Polish professional men's basketball club based in Warsaw, currently playing in the basketball 1 Men's Basketball League. History The team was founded in 1911. In 1959, the team won the national Polish championship. In the 1959–60 season, Polonia was a semi-finalist in the FIBA European Champions Cup. Rosa Radom, also known as HydroTruck Radom for sponsorship reasons, is a Polish professional basketball team based in Radom. The club was founded in 2003 and plays in the I Liga since the 2022–23 season. History In the 2011–12 season of the 1 Liga, Rosa Radom reached the Finals but lost 3–1 to Start Gdynia. The team was still promoted to the highest level PLK. In 2016, the team won its first trophy when it upset Stelmet Zielona Góra in the Polish Cup Final, winning 74–64. Rosa's C. J.
