PKP Class Px27
Px27 is a class of Polish State Railways (PKP) narrow-gauge steam locomotive built by Fablok in Chrzanów, Poland, in 1929 (factory type W5A). Only two locomotives of this class were made, and one, Px27-775, is currently preserved. History In 1927 Wyrzysk County Railways (''Wyrzyskie Koleje Powiatowe'') ordered two locomotives in the First Locomotive Factory in Poland (Fablok), fit for service on sloping line profile. Steam is a substance containing water in the gas phase, and sometimes also an aerosol of liquid water droplets, or air. Px38-805, named ''Leon'', is a preserved Polish narrow gauge steam locomotive built by Fablok in Chrzanów, Poland. It was the only locomotive of PKP class Px38, and one of three built locomotives of Fablok W5A type. History In 1929 the First Locomotive Factory in Poland (Fablok) designed a W5A type locomotive, basing upon its earlier W2A type (PKP Tx26-427), and manufactured two units (later designated PKP class Px27). There are hundreds of kilometres of , , , and narrow-gauge lines in Poland. Tx26-427 is a preserved Polish narrow gauge steam locomotive built by Fablok in Chrzanów, Poland. It was the only locomotive of Fablok W2A type, included into PKP class Tx26 along with W1A type. Narrow Gauge Railway Museum in Wenecja (Polish ''Venice'') near Żnin (Poland) is an open-air museum collecting and exhibiting steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars, trolleys, railwaymen's tools, signalling equipment, contents of an old waiting room, old maps. The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum in Wenecja is a department of the ''Muzeum Ziemi Pałuckiej'' (the Żnin's Museum of Pałuki Land) and was established in 1972 at a suggestion of enthusiasts of the Pałuki region, of which Żnin is considered the capital. Wyrzysk (german: Wirsitz) is a town in Poland with 5,263 (2004) inhabitants, situated in Piła County, Greater Poland Voivodeship. Geographic location Wyrzysk is located in the ethnocultural region of Krajna in northern Greater Poland, administratively it is part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. History The Wyrzysk area was established first by East Germanic settlement at the beginning of the first millennium A.D.
