Selangor Football Club II ( Malay: ''Kelab Bola Sepak Selangor 2''), commonly referred to as Selangor F.C. II, is a professional Malaysian football reserve team club of Selangor F.C., based in Shah Alam, in the state of Selangor. The club are nicknamed the Young Giants. Founded in 1967 as part of the sports and recreation club for the Selangor State Development Corporation ( ms, Kelab Sukan dan Rekreasi Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor) (KSR PKNS). The club were formerly known as PKNS F.C. when the club was merged with the Football Association of Selangor, then converted into a reserve team (as part of the Malaysian Football League's feeder club regulations) under Selangor F.C. and were rebranded as Selangor F.C. II. The club are currently playing in the Malaysia Premier League and play their home games at UiTM Stadium with a 10,000-seater capacity. UiTM Stadium
Stadium UiTM is a stadium located at Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Its capacity is 10,000. The stadium was built for Universiti Teknologi MARA and the UiTM Football Club. SPA FC and Selangor F.C. also had used the stadium as their interim home ground. It can also be used as a rugby pitch. Activities organized by the university are sometimes held in the stadium. Malaysia Super League
The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system. Administered by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), now known as the Malaysian Football League (MFL), the Malaysia Super League is contested by twelve teams that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Malaysia Premier League, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated and replaced by the promoted top two teams in that division. Piala Presiden (Malaysia)
The Piala Presiden ( en, President Cup) is a developmental football competition in Malaysia for Under-21 players. The cup consists of developmental squad from clubs competing in the top and second division of Malaysian football league system, the Malaysia Super League and the Malaysia Premier League. The cup exists alongside the youth competition for Under-19 players, the Piala Belia. History Since its inception in 1985, Piala Presiden has been the major tournament for Under-21 and Under-23 players. Datuk Santokh Singh s/o Gurdial Singh ( pa, ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ, Satōkha sigha; born 22 June 1952) is a retired Malaysian football player. His wife is Taljit Kaur and has 3 children, Kiran Kaur, Sukhveer Singh and Rajveer Singh. Career Overview Born in Setapak, Santokh played in the Selangor FA team from 1972 to 1985, winning 9 Malaysia Cups as captain of the team. Santokh was a player for Malaysia national football team in the 1970s and 1980s, and played alongside the late Mokhtar Dahari, Soh Chin Aun and R. Arumugam. He participated in the team that qualified to the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games, though he never featured in the finals of the tournament due to the Games' boycott by Malaysia. Reduan Abdullah
Reduan Abdullah is a retired Malaysian football player, and a current coach for UiTM FC in Malaysia Super League. As a player, Reduan played as a midfielder, and closely associated with Selangor FA team in the Malaysia Cup competition in the 1970s and early 1980s. He won 1973, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982 and 1984 Malaysia Cup. During that period, Reduan also played for Malaysia national football team, participating in several tournaments, including Merdeka Tournament and 1978 FIFA World Cup qualification. Mokhtar Dahari
Dato' Mohd Mokhtar bin Dahari (13 November 1953 – 11 July 1991) was a Malaysian football player from Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, he played for F.A. Selangor for most of his life. He is considered a legendary footballer in Malaysian football history, especially with F.A. Selangor. A prolific forward, he was nicknamed Supermokh due to his playing skills and strength. He scored 89 goals in 142 full international matches for Malaysia, and helped the team reach its highest ever Elo ranking of 61 in 1977.
