Pétur Tryggvi Hjalmarsson (24 January 1956 - 8 March 2021) was an Icelandic gold and silversmith. Background Tryggvi was born in Ísafjörður in Iceland. He was first trained in the goldsmith shop of his father Hjálmar Torfason in Reykjavík. He graduated from the Guldsmedehøjskolen (Goldsmith's High School) in Copenhagen in 1983. Pétur Pétursson (3 October 1808 – 15 May 1891) was a prominent political leader in Iceland, eventually becoming the fourth Bishop of Iceland from 1866 to 1889. Biography Pétursson was born in Blönduhlíð, the son of Péturs Péturssonar, a professor in Víðivöllur and his second wife, Thóra Brynjólfsdóttir. Pétur Hafliði Marteinsson (born 14 July 1973) is a retired Icelandic football player. He played for Hammarby IF in Sweden, Stabæk in Norway and Stoke City in England during his professional career. Marteinsson was capped 36 times and scored one goal while playing for Iceland. He is the son of former Icelandic international player Marteinn Geirsson. Club career Marteinsson was born in Reykjavík and started his career in Fram. He moved to Swedish club Hammarby IF in 1996 where he was a great success.
