Pétervására ( hu, Pétervásárai járás) is a district created in 2013 in the north-western part of Heves County. ''Pétervására'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Hungary Statistical Region. Geography Pétervására District borders with Salgótarján District ''(Nógrád County)'' and Ózd District ''(Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County)'' to the north, Bélapátfalva District and Eger District to the east, Gyöngyös District to the south, Bátonyterenye District ''(Nógrád County)'' to the west. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. Altogether, there are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Recsk
Recsk is a large village in Heves County, Hungary. The Recsk mine is a large copper mine located in the north-east of Hungary in Heves County. Recsk represents one of the largest copper reserves in Hungary and in the world, having an estimated reserve of 770 million tonnes of ore grading 0.65% copper. Parádsasvár
Parádsasvár is a small village in northern Hungary. It is located in Heves County, in the Mátra mountains, between the towns Gyöngyös and Eger. History This village was first mentioned in the 16th century, as property of Kristóf Országh. The next owner was Ungnád Kristóf, who was the Captain of the castle of Eger. From 1603, the Rákóczi family owned the village. In the 18th century Rákóczi Ferenc established a glassworks, which operated until 2005. Károlyi Castle was built in 1881, which later became a hunting lodge. The castle was designed by Miklós Ybl. The castle today is a five-star hotel. Parád
Parád is a village in the region of Northern Hungary, Heves County, Pétervására District, in the valley of the Parádi-Tarna. Mátraderecske is a village in Heves County, Hungary, under the Mátra mountain range, beside of the Balla creek. As of 2022 census, it has a population of 1750 (see Demographics).
