Péter Gulyás
Péter Gulyás (born 4 March 1984) is former a Hungarian handballer who played for MVM Veszprém KC and for the Hungarian national team. He took part in an Olympic Games (2012), two European Championships (2008, 2010) and also participated in the World Championship in 2011. He retired from handball in 2017. Currently he is the assistant coach of Telekom Veszprém. Veszprém
Veszprém (; german: Weißbrunn, sl, Belomost) is one of the oldest urban areas in Hungary, and a city with county rights. It lies approximately north of the Lake Balaton. It is the administrative center of the county (comitatus or 'megye') of the same name. Etymology The name of the city originates from a Slavic personal name ''Bezprem'' or ''Bezprym'' (Proto-Slavic ''Bezprěmъ'') meaning "stubborn", "self-confident, not willing to retreat". ''Besprem'' (before 1002), ''Vezprem'' (1086), ''Bezpremensis'' (1109). The form ''Vezprem'' originates in early medieval scribal habits and frequent exchange of ''B'' and ''V'' under the influence of Greek. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. If happens so, then the runners-up take the opportunity to represent Hungary in the forthcoming continental event for cup winners. Winners In 1954, 1955 and 1957, the cup was held on a grand scale. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The Hungarian Order of Merit ( hu, Magyar Érdemrend) is the fourth highest State Order of Hungary. Founded in 1991, the order is a revival of an original order founded in 1946 and abolished in 1949. Its origins, however, can be traced to the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Hungary which existed from 1922 until 1946. In 2011 its official name changed from Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary to Hungarian Order of Merit in accordance with the new Hungarian Constitution.
