Pål Arne Johansen
Pål Arne Johansen (born 16 February 1977) is a Norwegian professional footballer midfielder and later manager. He is the head coach of Eliteserien club Odd. Career Johansen hails from Brønnøy where he played youth football for Sport-71 and Brønnøysund, and made his senior debut for Brønnøy in 1993. Ahead of the 1994 season he moved south to attend the Norwegian School of Elite Sport and play youth football for Bærum. His first senior team in Southeast Norway was Fossum, joining 1. divisjon team Lyn in 1998. After barely featuring in their promotion season of 2000, he went on to Ullensaker/Kisa IL. In 2002 he joined Bærum, but after one season he pursued a coaching career, starting as player-manager of Groruddalen BK. He also immersed himself in theoretical football studies at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, co-writing the book ''Ferdighetsutvikling i fotball'' in 2002. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. Brønnøy
Brønnøy is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland region. The administrative centre and commercial centre of the municipality is the town of Brønnøysund. 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup
The 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 22nd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. The tournament was hosted by Poland between 23 May and 15 June 2019. 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2018) was the 17th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (67th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Finland hosted the final tournament, between 16 and 29 July, after being selected by UEFA on 26 January 2015. Eirik Horneland
Eirik Horneland (born 14 March 1975) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. Horneland played as a defender. Following a lengthy career in SK Vard Haugesund and a short loan at FK Haugesund where he saw some Tippeligaen action, he finished his playing career in FK Haugesund which at the time languished in the 1. divisjon. The 2009 UEFA Women's Championship, or just Women's Euro 2009, was played in Finland between 23 August and 10 September 2009. The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. Henning Berg
Henning Stille Berg (; born 1 September 1969) is a Norwegian football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Cypriot First Division club Pafos FC. His career lasted from 1988 to 2004, most notably in the Premier League where he won titles with both Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, becoming the first player to win the Premier League with two clubs. He also played in his native land for Vålerenga and Lillestrøm before finishing his career in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers. He was capped 100 times by Norway, scoring nine goals.
