Pál Hoffman
Pál Hoffman (born 27 October 1948) is a Hungarian politician and former professional handball player, who has been the mayor of Tököl since 1990. He was a member of the National Assembly (MP) for Szigetszentmiklós ( Pest County Constituency XII) between 2010 and 2014. Biography He finished secondary studies and took toolmaker professional exam at Fáy András Vocational School in 1967 and graduated as a teacher from Ho Si Minh Teacher Training College in 1982. He earned a business and marketing profession, a second degree in business economics in Szolnok in 1992. Hoffman was a professional handball player between 1967 and 1990, who played for Ferencvárosi TC, Újpesti TE and Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC. He made four appearances for the Hungary men's national handball team. He was elected Chairman of the Council then Mayor of Tököl in the 1990 local election. The National Assembly ( hu, Országgyűlés, lit=Country Assembly) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to 4-year terms. Gábor Kuncze
Gábor Kuncze (born 4 November 1950 in Pápa) is a Hungarian liberal politician, former chairman of the Hungarian Alliance of Free Democrats (SZDSZ). He became anchorman at the radio channel Klubrádió in 2008 while he was still an SZDSZ member of Parliament. Later, in 2010, he also became a host for the television channel ATV. Kuncze was later dismissed from ATV's morning program, which was taken over by Egon Rónai. Biography Kuncze was born in Pápa in 1950. After graduating from the piarist grammar school in Kecskemét he studied geotechnical engineering in the Ybl Miklós Technical College in Budapest and graduated from there in 1974. 2010 Hungarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 11 and 25 April 2010 to elect the members of the National Assembly. They were the sixth free elections since the end of the communist era. 386 Members of Parliament (MPs) were elected in a combined system of party lists and electoral constituencies. Electoral law in Hungary requires candidates to gather 500 signatures from citizens supporting their candidacy. In the first round of the elections, the conservative party Fidesz won the absolute majority of seats, enough to form a government on its own.
