Finnish ( endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland. Finnish is one of the two official languages of Finland (the other being Swedish). In Sweden, both Finnish and Meänkieli (which has significant mutual intelligibility with Finnish) are official minority languages. The Kven language, which like Meänkieli is mutually intelligible with Finnish, is spoken in the Norwegian county Troms og Finnmark by a minority group of Finnish descent. Pyry Hannola
Pyry Petteri Hannola (born 21 October 2001) is a Finnish football player who plays as a midfielder for Finnish club SJK. Club career RoPS Hannola signed his first contract with RoPS in October 2016, 13 days before his 15th birthday. He made his debut in the 2017 Finnish Cup in January 2017. He scored his first senior goal in the same competition, the second of a 9–0 victory over Oulun Palloseura. He made his league debut in April 2017, coming on as a 90th minute substitute for Saku Ylätupa in a 3–1 victory over PS Kemi. Midtjylland In early 2017, it was announced that Hannola would be joining Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland in the summer. Pyry Kärkkäinen
Pyry Kärkkäinen (born 10 November 1986) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Kakkonen club PPJ. Club career Kärkkäinen started his career with Kiuruveden Palloilijat where he played, until joining PK-37 for the season 2003. In 2003, he went on trial at Molde FK. For the season 2004, he moved to Kuopio and KuPS. He signed for three years. KuPS was relegated in 2006 and Kärkkäinen left the club and signed with FC Lahti. At that time he was already a regular in the Finnish under-19 national team. FC Honka had Kärkkäinen at trial in 2006, but chose not to offer a contract and FC Lahti's coach Antti Muurinen signed him for the first time. Pyry Soiri
Pyry Soiri (born 22 September 1994) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Romanian Liga I side Universitatea Craiova, and the Finland national team. Born in Ekenäs, Finland, to a Finnish mother, Iina Soiri, and a Namibian father, he spent most of his childhood in Africa. He holds both Finnish and Namibian citizenships. He began his senior career at the age of 17 playing for MYPA. Soiri made his international debut for Finland in November 2017 and has since had over 30 caps. He appeared in 9 out of 10 of Finland's UEFA Euro 2020 qualification matches and thus helped Finland reach their first ever major tournament, the UEFA Euro 2020.
