Pyramaze
Pyramaze is a Danish power metal band formed in 2001. History Pyramaze was formed in 2001 by guitarist Michael Kammeyer. Next to join were fellow Danes drummer Morten Gade Sørensen (Wuthering Heights, Anubis Gate) and bassist Niels Kvist. American keyboardist Jonah Weingarten, who originally met Kammeyer over the Internet, joined next. The band then set out in search for a singer. After listening to many demos, the band selected American singer Lance King (formerly of Balance of Power) to be their lead vocalist. The band's first live show took place on 23 April 2004 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They released their debut studio album, ''Melancholy Beast'', in May 2004 and followed with a tour over the summer of 2004. During this time, Danish guitarist Toke Skjønnemand joined the group. Immortal (Pyramaze Album)
''Immortal'' is the third studio album by the Danish power metal band Pyramaze, released on 30 May 2008. Iced Earth vocalist Matt Barlow, who had originally left Iced Earth and later joined Pyramaze, performs the vocals on ''Immortal''; however, on the official Pyramaze website, both Barlow and Pyramaze guitarist Michael Kammeyer have stated that this album will be Barlow's only contribution to Pyramaze, after which he will continue to work only with Iced Earth.Official website

Matthew Barlow (born March 10, 1971) is an American heavy metal singer. He is the lead singer for Ashes of Ares and former lead singer of Iced Earth and Pyramaze. He is Jon Schaffer's brother-in-law. History Barlow joined Iced Earth after the ''Night of the Stormrider'' tour with Blind Guardian in Europe, as a replacement for John Greely. The first album Barlow can be heard on is '' Burnt Offerings'' (1995). Barlow left the band in 2003, much to the chagrin of many fans. His reason for leaving was due to personal beliefs related to the September 11 terrorist attacks. He took a look at his life and realized that he wanted to contribute to the "real world" instead of living the illusion of a "rock star." He approached Jon Schaffer with this in late 2002, but Schaffer, known for his persuasive personality, convinced Barlow to stay with the band. ''Disciples of the Sun'' is the fourth studio album by the Danish power metal band Pyramaze, released on 22 May 2015. This album features a significantly different lineup than the band's previous records. Pyramaze recruited vocalist Terje Harøy to replace Matt Barlow and Urban Breed Urban Breed (often written with a lowercase "breed") is a Swedish singer. He is the former vocalist for Project Arcadia Bloodbound, Serious Black, Tad Morose, and Trail of Murder. Urban's style and voice have been described as similar to Ronn ... Anubis Gate
Anubis Gate is a power metal band from Denmark. Despite having formed Anubis Gate only in 2003, the members have regularly worked together since 1984. They have released eight studio albums, a six-CD boxset and two singles/EPs. History The band released their first album in 2004, but their history can be traced back to 1984, with bassist Jesper M. Jensen and Henrik Fevre as guitarist and vocalist forming V-Axe. The group changed its name to Graff Spee, and the line-up was completed with drummer Per M. Jensen (ex-Invocator/ex-The Haunted). Gaining some reputation in the local circles, Graff Spee released a few demos, but eventually split up in 1986 "due to creative differences". ProgPower USA
ProgPower USA is a progressive and power metal festival held annually in the United States since 2001. Its upcoming edition, ProgPower USA XXI is scheduled to take place on June 1–4, 2022. The festival's band selection process focuses on quality over quantity. In addition to the emphasis on the power and progressive metal genres, the festival has branched out into other genres with the inclusion of the "oddball" slot that doesn't fit the normal motif. Wuthering Heights (band)
Wuthering Heights is a Danish-Swedish heavy metal band with a somewhat eclectic musical style which falls in somewhere between progressive metal, "folk music-into-heavy metal" and power metal, along with "a mixture of Neoclassical Metal, Melodic Speed Metal and various progressive elements. They recorded nothing under this name, changing the name to Minas Tirith for the release of a demo cassette, entitled ''Tales From the Woods'' in late 1992.
