Putri Nusantara (eng: Princess of Indonesian Archipelago) is a beauty pageant from PT Mahakarya Duta Pesona Indonesia that selected Indonesian representatives in the one of Big Four international beauty pageants, Miss Earth from 2022 also Miss Aesthetic International and Miss Global pageants from 2023. The recent titleholder of Miss Earth Indonesia 2022 is Karina Fariza Ambrosini Basrewan. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Miss Earth 2015
Miss Earth 2015, the 15th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria. Jamie Herrell of the Philippines crowned her compatriot Angelia Ong as successor at the end of the event. It was the first time the pageant was held in Europe outside of Asia. It was also the first ever back-to-back victory in Miss Earth history. Miss Earth 2011, the 11th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. Nicole Faria of India crowned her successor Olga Álava of Ecuador at the end of the event. The show was aired live by Channel V at 8:00 pm, while Star World broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 6:00 pm, ABS-CBN and Studio 23 broadcast on the same day at 10:30 pm. Miss Earth 2010, the 10th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on 4 December 2010 at the Vinpearl Land Amphitheater in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
