Puteri Indonesia 2017
Puteri Indonesia 2017, the 21st Puteri Indonesia pageant was held on March 31, 2017, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Kezia Warouw, Puteri Indonesia 2016 of North Sulawesi crowned her successor Bunga Jelitha of Jakarta, Jakarta Special Capital Region 5 at the end of the event. All 38 contestants from 33 provinces competed for the crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017, while the runners-up will compete at the Miss International 2017, :id:Miss Supranational 2017, Miss Supranational 2017, and Miss Grand International 2017. Bunga Jelitha
Bunga Jelitha Ibrani (born 6 September 1991) is an Indonesian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Supermodel International 2011 and also Puteri Indonesia 2017. She represented Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017, where she didn't make into the Top 16, but she won ''"Miss Photogenic"'' award. Personal life and career Bunga Jelitha Ibrani, who stands 180 cm tall, is a model from Indonesia, now managed by Jakarta International Management (JIM Models). Her career began when she became a Finalist of Gadis Sampul 2005, but she has not made it out as a winner. In the same year, Bunga succeeded in winning Gading Model Search, and her career continued as she entered the Supermodel of Asia Pacific 2011 (now Supermodel International), and succeeded as the first winner at the time, in Bangkok, Thailand. Vidio is an Indonesia-based over-the-top video streaming service established on 15 October 2014. Originally owned by Kreatif Media Karya, it is now owned by Surya Citra Media, both of which is a subsidiary of Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek). Miss International 2017
Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. This edition also saw the crowning of the first ever moslem women to win Miss International, and was the first to win one of the four major international pageants for Indonesia. The show was hosted by Tetsuya Bessho on his fourth consecutive year. Amy Ota co-hosted the event, with a performance by Chemistry. Miss Universe 2017
Miss Universe 2017 was the 66th Miss Universe pageant, held at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on November 26, 2017. At the end of the event, Iris Mittenaere of France crowned Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa as Miss Universe 2017. It is South Africa's first victory in almost 4 decades, and the second victory of the country in the pageant's history. Contestants from 92 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant, surpassing the previous record of 89 contestants in 2011 and 2012. The pageant was hosted by Steve Harvey in his third consecutive year, and supermodel Ashley Graham. Putri Indonesia 2018, the 22nd Puteri Indonesia pageant, was held on March 9, 2018 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Bunga Jelitha, Puteri Indonesia 2017 of Jakarta SCR 5, crowned her successor, Sonia Fergina Citra of Bangka Belitung, at the end of the event.
