Waterford, Virginia
Waterford is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the Catoctin Valley of Loudoun County, Virginia, located along Catoctin Creek. Waterford is northwest of Washington, D.C., and northwest of Leesburg. The entire village and surrounding countryside is a National Historic Landmark District, noted for its well-preserved 18th and 19th-century character. In the 1810 United States Census, the population center of the United States was recorded as being just northwest of the village. History Founding Waterford was established around 1733 by Amos Janney, a Quaker from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bluemont is an unincorporated village in Loudoun County, Virginia located at the eastern base of Snickers Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Round Hill is a town in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. Its population was 539 at the 2010 census and an estimated 656 in 2019. The town is located at the crossroads of Virginia Routes 7 and 719 (Woodgrove Road), approximately northwest of Washington, D.C.
