Pupin Bridge
The Pupin Bridge ( sr-cyr, Пупинов мост, Pupinov most) is a road bridge over the Danube River in Belgrade, Serbia. The bridge is located upstream of the city center and connects Belgrade neighbourhoods of Zemun and Borča. It is part of Semi-Inner Ring circle. Opened in December 2014, it became the second bridge over the Danube in Belgrade, after the Pančevo Bridge in 1946. Name Due to the origin of the investors, even before the construction began, the bridge was colloquially called "Chinese Bridge" ( sr, Кинески мост, ). During the construction, its tentative name was ''Zemun–Borča bridge'', but later it got named after Serbian scientist and inventor Mihajlo Pupin. The name Chinese Bridge, however, continued to linger in an informal usage. Precontract
A precontract is a legal contract that precedes another; in particular it can refer to an existing promise of marriage with another. Such a precontract would legally nullify any later marriages into which either party entered. The practice was common in the Middle Ages, and the allegation of a precontract was the most common means of dissolving a marriage by the medieval ecclesiastical courts. Beška Bridge
Beška Bridge ( sr, Мост код Бешке, Most kod Beške) crosses the Danube river near Beška, Serbia on the A1 motorway, part of the European route E75. It consists of two identical prestressed concrete constructions, the first being completed in 1975 and the second in 2011. With 2,205 m total length, it is the longest bridge over the Danube. The first bridge was designed by architect Branko Žeželj, who also designed Belgrade Fair – Hall 1, Žeželj Bridge and the Prokop station. It was built by Mostogradnja from 1971 to 1975. It was bombed twice and partly destroyed during the NATO bombing of Serbia on 1 April and 21 April 1999, but it was temporarily fixed soon after the bombing was over and reopened on 19 July 1999, as it is an important part of the E75. Li Keqiang (born 1 July 1955) is a Chinese politician who is the outgoing premier of China. Velimir "Bata" Živojinović ( sr-Cyrl, Велимир "Бата" Живојиновић; 5 June 1933 – 22 May 2016) was a Yugoslav and Serbian actor and politician. He appeared in more than 340 films and TV series, and is regarded as one of the best actors in former Yugoslavia. Čukarica
Čukarica ( sr-cyr, Чукарица, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. Name Like several other neighborhoods of Belgrade, Čukarica was named after kafana. At the present location of the Sugar Refinery, there was a kafana in the second half of the 19th century. It was very popular as it was located at the point where two roads, one from Obrenovac and other from Šumadija, meet at the entrance to Belgrade. It was owned by Stojko Čukar and after him the kafana was named “Čukareva kafana” which later gave name to the settlement. Bele Vode ( sr-cyr, Беле воде, lit. "White Waters") is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Čukarica. Location Bele Vode is located in the southwestern part of Belgrade, as a western sub-neighborhood of Žarkovo.
