Pupi Poisson
Pupi Poisson is the stage name of Alberto Zimmer (born April 2, 1982), a Spanish drag performer most known for competing on the reality television series ''Drag Race España''. They began as a drag performer in 2006. Career Zimmer began performing in drag in 2006 following a stint at a theme park which helped her create the role of Pupi Poisson. In 2008 Poisson began to perform with other drag queens, and television appearances followed in 2010. She has competed on '' Got Talent España'' as well as ''Drag Race España''. In an interview with one of the judges on the show, Javier Calvo, he called her "very talented," and noted that she had been "working for a while." From July to December 2021, Poisson was part of the show ''Gran Hotel de las Reinas'', which toured Spain as the official tour of ''Drag Race España''. The term "drag" refers to the performance of exaggerated masculinity, femininity, or other forms of gender expression, usually for entertainment purposes. A drag queen is someone (usually male) who performs femininity and a drag king is someone (usually female) who performs masculinity. ''Got Talent España'' ( en, Got Talent Spain), is the Spanish version of the international ''Got Talent'' series. It is hosted by Santi Millán and broadcast on Spanish Telecinco channel. The idea behind the programme is to search for the most talented and promising entertainment. The series premiered on 13 February 2016. ''Drag Race España'' (sometimes called ''Drag Race Spain'') is a Spanish reality competition streaming television series, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and executive produced by World of Wonder. It is the Spanish adaptation of the ''Drag Race'' franchise. In a similar format to the American version, the show features a crop of Spanish drag queens as they compete for a grand prize of €30,000 and the title of "Spain's Next Drag Superstar". The series is airing on ATRESplayer Premium in Spain and on WOW Presents Plus elsewhere. The first season premiered on 30 May, and concluded on 25 July 2021.
