Punta de Agua is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Torrance County, New Mexico, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in the western part of the county, northwest of Mountainair along New Mexico State Road 55, which continues northwest to Manzano. The Quarai unit of Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument is in the southwest part of the CDP. The Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument is a complex of three Spanish missions in New Mexico, Spanish missions located in the U.S. state of New Mexico, near Mountainair. Quarai, also known historically as Quarai State Monument, is a prehistoric and historic unit of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument located north of Mountainair, New Mexico.
