''Punk Goes...'' is a series of pop albums released by Fearless Records in which punk rock bands perform covers of songs from other genres. As of 2019, the series consists of nineteen compilation albums. Though predominantly a series of cover albums, ''Punk Goes Acoustic'', ''Punk Goes Acoustic 2'', and '' Punk Goes Acoustic Vol. 3'' deviate from this theme, featuring acoustic versions of original songs by the featured bands. 2013's ''Punk Goes Christmas'' and 2015 rerelease of ''Punk Goes Christmas'' titled '' Punk Goes Christmas: Deluxe Edition'' features a mix of both Christmas-themed original songs and covers. Strung Out is an American punk rock band from Simi Valley, California, formed in 1989. They are known mainly for their musical style, which fuses aspects of melodic punk rock, progressive rock and heavy metal to form their primary sound. They have released nine studio albums on Fat Wreck Chords as well as one Live album, 2 B-sides collections, a best-of, a box set and appeared on numerous compilations and skate/surf/dirt bike/offroading videos. "Bark at the Moon" is a song by heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. It was the first single released from his 1983 album of the same name. The music video produced for the song was Osbourne's first. It peaked at #21 on the UK Singles Chart and #12 on ''Billboard''s Album Rock Tracks. The song has received critical praise, frequently being voted one of Ozzy's best songs. New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Heaven is a power ballad by American glam metal band Warrant. It was released in July 1989, as the second single from Warrant's debut album ''Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich''. The song is Warrant's most commercially successful single, spending two weeks at number two on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and number three on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The track's commercial success has led it to becoming one of the best known songs by the band. Background "Heaven" took Warrant's record company by surprise. Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California.
