Pulseman
is a 1994 Japanese platform game developed by Game Freak and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive. It was released in North America for the Sega Channel in 1995. It was re-released on the Virtual Console for the Wii in 2007 and 2009, and the Nintendo Classics service in 2023. Plot In the 21st century, noted scientist and computer engineer Doc Yoshiyama had succeeded in creating the world's most advanced Artificial Intelligence. He called his creation C-Life and managed to make her aware, thinking and feeling. Ken Sugimori
is a Japanese video game designer, illustrator, mangaka, manga artist, and Video game director (other), director. He is best known as the primary character designer and art director for the ''Pokémon'' franchise. Sugimori is also credited with the art direction for other titles, including ''Pulseman''. Atsuko Nishida
is a Japanese graphic artist who previously worked at Game Freak and TOYBOX Inc. She designed a number of creatures for the ''Pokémon'' franchise, including one of the most well-known Pokémon species, the franchise's mascot Pikachu. Career Nishida was working at Game Freak on the game '' Pulseman'' with the art director for ''Pokémon'', Ken Sugimori. In his initial character design, Sugimori made most of the ''Pokémon'' scary, but he realized he also wanted to have cute characters in the game. This led to the design of Pikachu, which was originally based on a daifuku, a Japanese sweet treat. is a Japanese video game developer, best known as the primary developer and co-owners of the ''Pokémon (video game series), Pokémon'' series of role-playing video games. The Sega Channel was an online game service developed by Sega for the Sega Genesis video game console, serving as a content delivery system. Launched on December 14, 1994, the Sega Channel was provided to the public by TCI and Time Warner Cable through cable television services by way of coaxial cable. It was a pay to play service, through which customers could access Genesis games online, play game demos, and get cheat codes. Junichi Masuda
is a Japanese video game composer, director, designer, producer, singer, programmer and trombonist, best known for his work in the ''Pokémon'' franchise. He was a member of Game Freak where he was an employee and executive at the company since 1989 when he founded it alongside Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori.
