Pulindu Perera
Pulindu Perera (born 3 January 2006) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He plays age-group cricket representing Sri Lanka national under-19 cricket team. Biography He began pursuing cricketing ambitions in 2014 at the age of eight at the Cricket Academy of Dharmaraja College and was initially coached by Ananda Wijesekera. He studies at Dharmaraja College. Career In March 2023, he completed 1000 runs in the schools season when he achieved the milestone against D. S. Senanayake College in an under-19 schools cricket match. In September 2023, he scored a century against the West Indies under-19 cricket team during the third and final U-19 ODI of the series and was dismissed on 155. In October 2023, he scored a century against Pakistan under-19 cricket team during the first U-19 ODI match of the five match series and was dismissed on 156. Burgher Recreation Club
Burgher Recreation Club is a first-class cricket and hockey club based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. History The club was founded on 26 December 1896 known as the Bambalapitya Recreation Club, with membership restricted to the Burgher community. The first president was A. W. Raffel, the hon. secretary was O. H. Poppenback and the club captain was V. O. Wright. The club won its first cricket match on 9 November 1901. In 1902 the club moved from Bambalapitiya to Havelock Park. On 31 May 1915 the club changed its name to the Burgher Recreation Club. In 1925 the club was adjudged cricket champions. In 1947 B. R. Dharmaraja College ( si, ධර්මරාජ විද්යාලය), founded in 1887, is a boys' school in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is a Buddhist school with around 300+ teaching staff and around 5000+ students. 2023 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup
2023 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup was the tenth edition of the ACC Under-19 Cup, a limited overs cricket tournament featuring eight under-19 teams. It was scheduled to played between 8 and 17 December 2023. The five full members of the Asian Cricket Council are taking part in the tournament: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They joined by the top three ranked teams Nepal, United Arab Emirates and Japan. Originally, the tournament was scheduled to take place in Pakistan but it was shifted to United Arab Emirates later. The Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) is a first-class cricket club in Sri Lanka. Singhalese is the most successful club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket, having won the Premier Trophy a record 32 times to 2017. Although the name is correctly spelt with the old spelling "Singhalese", the name is sometimes misspelt with the modern spelling "Sinhalese".
