Puff Johnson (basketball)
Donovan Christopher "Puff" Johnson (born October 11, 2000) is an American college basketball player who plays for the Penn State Nittany Lions of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball, North Carolina Tar Heels of the Atlantic Coast Conference. High school career Johnson attended Moon Area High School in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, for 3 years, helping lead the school to a state championship as a junior. As a senior, Johnson attended Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was coached by former National Basketball Association, NBA player Mike Bibby. A 4 star recruit, he committed to North Carolina over Arizona Wildcats men's basketball, Arizona. College career North Carolina Johnson played very little in his freshman season with the Tar Heels and finished the season averaging just 1 point per game. Small Forward
The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. They are strategic and are often relied upon to score, defend, create open lanes, and rebound for their team. The small forward is considered to be perhaps the most versatile of the five main basketball positions as they contribute offensively and defensively. In the NBA, small forwards generally range from 6' 5" (1.96 m) to 6' 10" (2.08 m); in the WNBA, they are usually between 6' 0" (1.83 m) to 6' 2" (1.88 m).
