Cedro Arriba is a barrio in the municipality of Naranjito, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 3,876. History Puerto Rico was ceded by Spain in the aftermath of the Spanish–American War under the terms of the Treaty of Paris of 1898 and became an unincorporated territory of the United States. In 1899, the United States Department of War conducted a census of Puerto Rico finding that the population of Cedro Arriba barrio was 915. Some of the sectors within this barrio receive water service from a private system, and not from Puerto Rico Aqueducts and Sewers Authority. Sectors Barrios (which are, in contemporary times, roughly comparable to minor civil divisions) in turn are further subdivided into smaller local populated place areas/units called sectores (''sectors'' in English). Naranjito, Puerto Rico
Naranjito (, ) is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the central region of the island, south of Toa Alta; north of Barranquitas and Comerío; east of Corozal; and west of Bayamón.
