Puertecitos
The town of Puertecitos is located 90 kilometers south of San Felipe, in the Mexican state of Baja California. Puertecitos is a tourist spot for both vacationers and expatriates from the United States. The Puertecitos bay, which was permanently settled in 1949 by Rafael Orozco, overlooks the Gulf of California. There are a couple of hundred homes and mobile homes in Puertecitos, mostly lying on a low hill which overlooks the Gulf of California on the east side, and the inner bay of Puertecitos on the west side. Puertecitos receives an average of two inches of rain a year, and has the same climate as San Felipe. San Felipe, Baja California
San Felipe is a coastal city in San Felipe Municipality, Baja California, located on the Gulf of California. The population of San Felipe was reported as 17,143 inhabitants in the 2020 Mexican Census. San Felipe is historically a fishing town. Today it is also a popular tourist destination, known for its beaches, nature, and desert racing, as home to the ''San Felipe 250''. San Felipe is the newest municipality in the Mexican state of Baja California. Inaugurated on 1 January 2022, it is located approximately south of Mexicali, the state capital. The Pacific Time Zone (PT) is a time zone encompassing parts of western Canada, the western United States, and western Mexico. A hot spring, hydrothermal spring, or geothermal spring is a spring produced by the emergence of geothermally heated groundwater onto the surface of the Earth.
