Pueblo is a barrio in the municipality of Lares, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 4,838. Sectors Barrios (which are roughly comparable to minor civil divisions) and subbarrios, in turn, are further subdivided into smaller local populated place areas/units called sectores (''sectors'' in English). Lares barrio-pueblo is a Barrios of Puerto Rico, barrio and the administrative center (Seat of government, seat) of Lares, Puerto Rico, Lares, a municipality of Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 2,690. Lares, Puerto Rico
Lares (, ) is a mountain town and municipality of Puerto Rico's central-western area. Lares is located north of Maricao and Yauco; south of Camuy, east of San Sebastián and Las Marias; and west of Hatillo, Utuado and Adjuntas. Puerto Rico Highway 111 (PR-111) is a highway connecting Aguadilla, Puerto Rico at Puerto Rico Highway 2 and Puerto Rico Highway 115 to Utuado, Puerto Rico at Puerto Rico Highway 140.
