Pudong International Airport () is a metro and maglev station located within Shanghai Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. Pudong
Pudong is a district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu, the river which flows through central Shanghai. The name ''Pudong'' was originally applied to the Huangpu's east bank, directly across from the west bank or Puxi, the historic city center. It now refers to the broader Pudong New Area, a state-level new area which extends all the way to the East China Sea. The traditional area of Pudong is now home to the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone and the Shanghai Stock Exchange and many of Shanghai's best-known buildings, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Jin Mao Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Shanghai Tower. Airport Link Line (Shanghai)
Airport link line is a commuter rail line currently under construction on the Shanghai Metropolitan Area Intercity Railway, Shanghai Suburban Railway, and will be run by China Railway. It runs from Shanghai Hongqiao railway station, Hongqiao railway station in Minhang District to Shanghai East railway station in Pudong. The 68.6-kilometer express line is expected to shorten the travel time between the airports of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Pudong from 90 minutes (by Line 2 (Shanghai Metro), Metro Line 2) to under 40 minutes. Construction started in June 2019. The line is expected to open at the end of 2024. Longyang Road Station
Longyang Road () is an interchange station that serves both the Shanghai maglev train and lines 2, 7, 16 and 18 on the Shanghai Metro. It provides quick transfers between the metro system and the Maglev train to and from Pudong International Airport. There are two separate fare-paid zones at this station: one for the conventional metro lines (Lines 2, 7, 16, 18) and one for the Maglev train, which has a separate fare system. East Xujing Station
East Xujing () is a station on Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened on 16 March 2010, and is the current western terminus of the line. Buses from East Xujing Station will take passengers to other locations in Qingpu.
